

The special-issue on Caribbean women is guest-edited by Professor Opal Palmer Adisa, an award-winning poet and prose writer with 14 titles to her credit. She is the recipient of the PEN Oakland/Josephine Miles Literary Award for Tamarind and Mango Women (1992) and won a Pushcart Prize for her short story, "Duppy Get Her" (1987).
