We Can Make This Work: A One-Act Play

Abstract

Curtains open to a large, spacious office. In stage right corner there is a couch where LAURA and AFIBA are sitting and adjacent to them is a lounge chair where DR. ALVAREZ is scribbling notes down on a notepad. Across from this corner, stage left, is DR. ALVAREZ’S large desk and chair. There are assorted plants across the room, a large rug, many pillows and dim lighting. Books are strewn about haphazardly in floor-to-ceiling shelving units on the walls.
