Why the Rachel Dolezal Issue is So Important for Bi- and Multiracial Individuals
Abstract
Growing up bi- or multiracial in America is not easy. We start off with two parents who likely look nothing alike. When I was a baby, I was so much lighter than my mom that when people saw us together, they assumed she was my nanny. Some told her to give their compliments to the “beautiful baby’s†parents.
